Where are the studios located?

Saints & Stars (Oud-West): Tweede Constantijn Huygensstraat 41 in Amsterdam. If you need a landmark to navigate, that's really close to the Overtoom. Saints & Stars (Oud-Zuid): Our second club is located at Gerrit van der Veenstraat 38 (nearby Beethovenstraat, Amsterdam). Saints & Stars (De Pijp): Our third club is located at Hobbemakade 31, Amsterdam.

When are you open?

HOUSE RULES

Tribe, please keep these house rules in mind: • Phone etiquette: Respect others' privacy by limiting phone use. • Mandatory check-in: always check in at the front desk before your session. • No chewing gum: For safety and hygiene, no gum during class. • Respect the equipment: Use our gear with care – no throwing dumbbells or equipment. • Stay dressed: In public areas, including the open gym & lounge, stay fully dressed. • Proper footwear: Wear class-appropriate shoes. • Respect your environment: Please show respect to our space & staff. SCHEDULING A WORKOUT

Do I need to create an account?

Yes. It’s super easy and takes less than one minute. Seriously, time it.

Do I have to buy a complete package or pay for a full membership?

You can become a member, but you don't have to. Actually, we're like a Walhalla for people terrified of committing. We work with a simple workout system. One Holy workout costs one credit. Our Premium concepts, Holy Reformer & Holy Wellness, require 2 credits. Good to know: credits expire one year after purchase.

Do you offer monthly memberships?

Yes we, do. We offer a Gold membership and a Premium membership. Don't like commitment? Say no more, you can choose for a Flex membership!

How early can I book workouts online?

Gold members can book a spot two weeks in advance, and Premium members can book a spot even 3 weeks in advance!

Oh, no - my fav class is full. What now?

No worries, you can put yourself on the waiting list. As soon as a spot opens up, you will be booked automatically – awesome, right? If no spot becomes available, your credit will be automatically transferred back to your account around midnight.

How does the waiting list work?

When you sign up for a waitlist, a credit will be taken from your account. As soon as a spot opens up, you will be automatically booked for the workout (up to 8 hours prior to the class, so be ready!). This means you don't have to check non-stop if a spot is available, yesss! When a spot opens up within 8 hours before class, you get a mail to sign up. First come, first served! Good to know: you can remove yourself from the waitlist. Oh, and Premium members have waitlist priority.

BEFORE WORKOUT

When should I arrive?

We recommend arriving at the studio 10 minutes before workout for check-in.

What do I do when I get there?

If it's your first time, introduce yourself at the front desk, and they'll steer you in the right direction. If you're a regular, just make yourself at home.

What if I’m running late?

Ideally, you arrive no later than ten minutes prior to the start of your workout. That's respectful to the trainers and guarantees a smooth and focused start to your workout. Once the class starts, no more participants will be allowed into the studio despite booking the class. Make sure you arrive on time! Sorry about that, but you get it.

Something came up. Can I cancel?

We’re not quite real-time – yet. To avoid being charged, please cancel your workout no later than 8 hours prior to that workout. To cancel just go to ‘My Workouts’.

CANCELLATION POLICY

Can’t make it? Cancel your workout at least 8 hours prior at no extra charge. Classes fill quickly, so your absence is someone else’s gain. If you don’t cancel 8 hours prior to the class, you’ll get a €7.50 fee. For a late cancel (within 1 hour prior to the class) and a no-show it’s €15. Are you signing up for a (workout) event? Cancel at least 24 hours in advance if you can't make it to our workout event.

What should I wear?

Whatever you feel comfortable working out in. Well, almost everything. Definitely something. Going to Holy Ride? We've got Ride shoes for you, but bring your ow socks Holy Riders! Going to Holy Wellness? Bring your swim wear and your sliders. For Holy Reformer it's crucial to wear your grip socks.

BOXING QUESTIONS

What are the benefits of boxing?

You ready? Great, let’s go: burns fat, accelerates metabolism, increases muscle tone and is great for health. It also improves muscular endurance, core stability, strength, power and hand-eye coordination. And do we even need to name stress relief?

Will boxing make me too muscular?

Watching Rocky you’d think so. But no, it doesn’t. Boxing builds lean muscle-mass and tones your entire body. The combination of cardio and strength training burns calories without bulking you up. Thanks to the intense focus on building core strength, boxing produces that sought after six-pack sooner than most think.

Is boxing good for you?

A workout at Saints & Stars is HIIT (High Intensity Interval Training), strength training, (METCON) metabolic conditioning, and cardio all in one - making it an incredible total body workout. You'll see improved balance and coordination, increased metabolism, and experience the potential to burn up to 13 calories per minute. Our aqua bags reduce the impact on your joints, and the shape increases trainer visibility so that you'll never feel lost during a workout. Our favourite part? The endorphins released during exercise mean that chances are high that you'll walk out feeling happier too.

Will I lose weight boxing?

When it comes to losing weight, few fitness activities beat boxing. Credit the magic combination of calorie burn and muscle gain. Seen any flabby boxers, lately? Nope.

Doesn't boxing get boring after a while?

First of all, boring is a state of mind. Second of all, our trainers are masters at mixing up aerobic and anaerobic exercises. All this mixing ensures a continuous metabolism boost and makes it nearly impossible to hit a weight loss plateau. Mentally, it keeps you fresh, curious and sharp. It’s a far cry from mental autopilot.

Can I box if I’m pregnant?

Listen, we’ve had clients boxing right up to D-Day. But ultimately it's a question between you, your BFF and/or your doctor.

What are wraps and do I really need them?

Yep, you need them. For all your boxing fanaticism, you're not really a professional boxer (sorry to burst that bubble for you). Wraps protect your knuckles and wrists no matter how hard you pummel your aqua bag. We have easy-peasy slip-on wraps available to purchase for €10.

Do I need to bring my own gloves?

You can certainly bring your own if you want, or buy our new badass gloves (€ 45) at our merch central. We even sell inner gloves (€ 10 per pair) if you need them or go for that combo (inner + outer gloves € 50).

I can't box, can I keep up?

To box is to be human. Our Holy Box is totally beginner-friendly. The trainers tailor the workout so that you can sustain your own pace no matter your level. Arrive early for your first workout, say hi, breath in the vibe, meet your ringmaster. Easy-peasy.

PERSONAL TRAINING

Will I get my own PT?

Yes. And the best part: you can choose the Personal Trainer that will push you the most. Is your PT sick or on holiday (yes they deserve some time off as well)? We’ll make sure you get a really good substitute.

Can I try a PT session?

Yes, we can start with a session to get an idea of your desired goals. During this session we'll do a movement prep, health analysis and a measurement to check your current health. Followed by honest advice and timeline to reach your goals the fastest way possible.

What is HIIT?

High Intensity Interval Training (HIIT) combines intense, high-energy bursts of activity with shorts periods of low activity. You’ll burn more calories in a shorter time, and it’s boosting your metabolism. That means you burn more fat and calories in the 24 hours after a workout.

Is there a minimum age to join?

You've got to be at least 16 to join our clan. We apologize to all the 15 year-olds out there.
